Joy of Hex Maps

A guide to creating a hex map, for use with the Hexcrawl25 challenge or for any hex map you might want or need.

This is a living document that will updated and expanded periodically. Currently, it consists of 14 20 22 pages, including templates, tables, and some structure for setting up your hex map, including:

• regional hex map template
• local hex map template
• hex terrain generator
• hex contents generator

Hex stocking procedures (beta)

Currently in a separate file, there are now some procedures for stocking hex contents! Once these become final, they will be folded into the main document.
