A magic item for Troupe or your tabletop role-playing game of choice, found in well-stocked but abandoned libraries.
Appearance: a thick tome filled with many browned, empty pages, and worn leather covers.
Use: the questioner writes a question on one of the pages then places the book under their head when they sleep; upon waking, an answer will be written upon the facing page; the answer will be mostly true but may be from a different perspective than the questioner.
Charges: the book has one use. To regain use, it must be left in a library. After being placed there, as soon as no one is watching it, the book vanishes. It will reappear in a different library, with clean pages, and one use regained.
Some legends state that somewhere is a matching book, the Book of Found Knowledge, that collects all the questions and answers from the Book of Revelations but such a book, if it exists, has never been found.
